The town square in Riomaggiore is situated very near to the Riomaggiore train station.
The Cinque Terre Park Information Centre (Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre) is located right on the square.

Visitors wishing to hike along the Cinque Terre Trail on the Italian Riviera must purchase a special hiking pass. It can be purchased for one, two, three or seven days.
The revenue obtained from the sale of the passes is used to maintain this magnificent trail system.
